UNECE IIR template:

• Identification of major changes in estimation methodologies for key categories (annual update)

Explanation of methods used to calculate emission estimates for key categories and other sources. Including:
• Country specific emission factors, assumptions and methods per NFR code or sector group as appropriate and where transparency permits
• Reference to default guidebook factors used for other sectors
• Quantitative or qualitative assessment of uncertainties per NFR or sector group.

Short description

1-2 paragraphs:

  • what is included/excluded?
  • Table with data, origin/reference, tier, issues by sub category (if needed):
NFR-Code Name of Category Method AD EF Key Category
?.?.?.??? ??? ? ? ? L & T: ? | L: ? | T: ?
  • General remarks
  • country specifics?
  • Main drivers?

Method

2 introducing sentences (tiers, country specific approaches etc)

Activity Data

  • A few sentences, short version of NIR text
  • main References (studies, reports, tables etc.)
  • table(s) with entire time series

Emission Factors

  • A few sentences
  • main References (studies, reports, tables etc.)

Table 2: Annual emission factors

Discussion of emission trends

!!! Wenigstens für Key Categories !!!

Fertigstellung daher erst nach der KCA

For each substance that is key source:

  • figure showing emission trends, by fuel type or subcategory
  • text description of main drivers
  • trend figure for each key source pollutant!

Recalculations

With activity data and emission factors remaining unrevised, no recalculations have been carried out compared to last year's submission.

Uncertainties

  • short text, naming the main culprits

Planned improvements

  • short text, naming the main culprits

or:

At the moment, no category-specific improvements are planned.

Projections (optional)

co-ordinate with Kevin if you want sth. here!

  • tables for activity data projections
  • What basis for projections? Expert judgement? Simple Extrapolation? Study?
